Today history has been made. I'm not even talking about the fact that an African American was sworn into office. I'm talking about the fact that today, on January 20th, 2009, a day after MLK Day...5 days after MLK's Birthday...41 years after MLK's assassination...people actually stood together; black, white, yellow, puerto rican, and hatian, and they were all one. No race mattered today. Today all we were Americans. We shook hands, we smiled, we were happy.
Today is the day that we stop making excuses as to why we have problems in life. Never again will we blame "the man", cause the man in charge is BLACK! Do you think we've achieved Martin's Dream??
