Today I was in the mood of hearing songs I havent heard in a min.
Then a lil light bulb popped in my head and Aaliyah songs just start coming to me.
Did a little wikipedia'n and I cant believe its been 8 years since she's died.
I still remember riding in the car, and hearing 'One of Detroit's angels has passed'. It was so surreal I know people that went to the high school she did,hell my middle school played her's alll the time.
Detroit was so somber.
And for like 3 days straight every station played her music.
