I think every college student has something they miss about home.

Mine & every other metro Detroit student is CONEY ISLAND!!!

LA has Roscoe's, NY has Gray's Papaya, Chicago has Harold's, but in Detroit we have Coney Islands! They are on every corner in the D but my fave one is downtown in the Financial District.

Not only is the food the best, but its the best way to sober up when coming from Canada.Lol, sad but true.

Walk In My Shoes

The last couple of weeks have been a doozy.

Graduations,nieces&nephews,concerts. Just crazyness.

I've done a few post here and there but now I just wanna share everythang!!! Lol.

Scene 1--Gradution

My sister Laura FINALLY graduated from Michigan State University (GO GREEN GO WHITE) and I was a crying,emotional wreck. Ofcourse I'm gonna show you guys that,c'mon black people look hideous while crying.

Anywhos my sister was only 1 of the 3 black students graduating from her college, sad but also great to see a fab woman break down so many walls & barriers.

Thursday nite I was able to see Drake again. Yeah I know, you're probably thinking wasn't the 1st time good enough?? Umm, NO! Lol. Coming to my hometown, there was no way I was missing it!!
It was a good look, Wale came and made a appearance, Big Sean was also there---if you havent heard of Big Sean, go educate yourself. He's signed to Kayne's G.O.O.D Music Label & is good shit. PLUS he's from DETROIT,so I'm gonna put on,lol.
But I'm officially happy with my Drake status,lol. I've seen 2 concerts in 2 weeks, now I can sit down and life happily.

In Detroit we have a little part called Mexican Town. So you know what that meant.

It was tons of fun, alot of future papis where around and you cant  go wrong when good mexican cuisine & shots are in the equation. Basically a huge club outside in the streets.

A year ago TODAY, my sister went into LABOR!

And now me & that little girl are more than family, thats my HEART!
Tomorrow is Aubrey's 1st B-day Extravaganza!! And the who's who from Detroit will be in action. Trying to tell people, even though it's a Chuckie Cheese, we shutting the place DOWN!
So I just touch down in the D, and was trying to get started on some studying but realized that I can't cause I still have to find the perfect gift for Aubrey. But can't do that either cause the elder parental(grandma) is bugging me to build this dollhouse. Ugh! Don't people know I don't know how to follow directions.
But any ways Happy Friday the 13th. Don't do anything stupid or dumb or anything that gets the black people killed first in the horror flicks ;).

3s Company

Today is the last Saturday before my Spring Break ends.[I'm hurtin so bad]. And like the lovely sister my sister is we just went shopping. But its not ur average shopping,oh no! We hit up atleast 3 malls and any stores we see on the way. I told you guys my sister is the BEST! After dragging me & Aubrey around for HOURS, we were hungryyyy!! But P.F Chang's had a 1 1/2 wait. [If you never heard of it, it's a Asian Bistro and the food is A-MMMAAAAZZZZIIINNNGGGG. If you're in Michigan,pass thru Michigan, have a lay over in Michigan, you must go!] So Olive Garden it was and my niece, Aubrey is 11 months[turns the big ONE on March 14] so everything she does is adorable. But anyway I've been waiting to see her eat spagehtti, and it FINALLY HAPPENED.

But the SUPER DUPER BEST PART OF IT was...Yeah all kinds of cheesy & lame but they are the coolest bunch around!

On break, kinda.

Break. That word is real iffy rite now. Still studying like any other week but the best part is I take breaks to hang out with the coolest baby around!

But the greatest thing about breaks is having time to eat cereal. Seems silly, but it takes time to eat a bowl. Don't believe me try it!

I've officially messed up! When I used to get my eyebrows done, I'd only let one person touch them but over the years being away from home, I went to many different places and that was a BIG NO-NO!!! The end of my brows literally have like 5 hairs left :( and I'm mucho not happy, so I'm going to grown them out..eeeerrrrkkkk!!!!!!!!! And already I see the 'caterpillars' coming to form. Wish me mucho luck. And I will be capturing the good, bad & in betweens.
