I have the second season on DVD and when you're seeing episodes back to back you're noticing much more than you do when the episodes are spaced out by weeks. I left Detroit to get AWAY from you people! I've been going to Canada for so long that I was able to go over there with a HIGH SCHOOL ID...not driver's license and birth cert/passport...A HIGH SCHOOL ID PEOPLE!

Shall I share my first experience of Canada?? I was 15 years old...bored with my Booty's (Etana and Shanita) and they wanted to go to Room 112. We didn't plan it, so NO ONE was prepared to go. Me and ET didn't have any ID, Shanita did. Nita came up with the idea that me and Etana get in the trunk, we were huddled up in the trunk in the fetal position, nervous as hell that they was goin to as Nita to pop the trunk on our asses. They didn't...I don't have felonies and I'm not trapped in a Canadian jail with Mounties. I had fun, got drunk, danced, and had fun without paying 15 dollars at a regular club and not be able to drink (and at 15, no club in Detroit would have let me in...let alone drink). After 5 long years, I'm still going, still gambling, still drinking pitchers of watered down liquor in Voodoo for $6.

So people, please, get the hell out of Windsor...you aren't welcome. The only people that are welcome there are Ekilla, myself, the people mentioned above, and Drake lmao.

Why can't any of Diddy's groups stay together? What ever happen to Boyz N Da Hood? Why has Day 26 only had 2 songs out when their album is hot!?

You know, Puff Daddy, Puffy, P.Diddy, Diddy, whatever you want to call him has been doing this shit for a LONNNNG time, and if it wasn't for word of mouth NO ONE on their damn roster would have made it...

For example, Cheri Dennis...see you don't even know who the hell that is do you? She came out with that one song "I Love You" that had the Capo (Jim Jones) featured on it in about 05. Bet you didn't know that she dropped a CD in Feb of this year, been on Bad Boy since 1999. Bad, bad marketing. Another example, Cassie, need I say more. Ok, she wasn't the worst, but still.

A more recent example, Donnie Klang...I don't remember seeing a commercial, a poster, or a plug about his cd unless it was during MTB.

Diddy needs a better marketing team, even his heavy hitters (Danity Kane, Day 26) aren't marketed correctly. If it wasn't for the show playing their songs during episodes would you have bought it?? I wouldn't have! When the show ended, he released 1 song...for both artist groups, accompanied with a video...next song wasn't put out until MONTHS later. And poor poor Donnie, since his cd wasn't completed during the course of the show...he cd aint sell shit...not even certified Gold to be exact.

Dare we remember people like Faith Evans, 112, Craig Mack (which was one of the original hit makers around the same time Big was hot/alive), the L.O.X, B5 (lmao, they caught the hint and left cause of lack of promotion, way to get out kids!)...Hell everyone wants a record deal, but unless ur on a hit tv show at the time...dont make Bad Boy of them...

So when I was checking the web this morning, I saw something that caught my eye. Snowfall in the South. And they went hay-wired!!! Closed down schools, businesses, everythang! Just over a couple inches of snow.


So the people down south go crazy for a day of snow, so maybe the people of Michigan ( the state surrounded by the 5 Great Lakes, therefore we have lake effect snow. THE WORST TYPE!!!!) should go ape sh*t over the 7 inches we get daily.

So, I had been REAL skeptical of the whole concept of this album. Now you can ask any and everybody, I am a die hard Kanye West fan and got every cd the same day it came out. This cd, I bought on the 5th...remember people, it came out in November. I have to say, it's a hell of a lot different than the other ones. College Dropout...played it for years, Late Registration...every song on the cd was a ringtone on my phone at least once, Graduation...still in in my recently played on my Ipod. Now, this cd?? I've listened to all the way through twice, some songs I play more than others, but I can't fully say that I'm disappointed.

How can I be disappointed, the nigga delivered a well produced album, it just isnt what we're used to. Every song, to me, sounded like he was channeling Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight" with the African tribal drums.

The song that made me buy 808 was "Street Lights". I heard it during an episode of Grey's Anatomy, and with the exception of "Heartless" and "Love Lockdown", this is the best fucking song on the album hands down. The guitar riff, drums, background singers tied this song together into a big ball of emotion that almost had my ass in tears. The line "I KNOW my destination, and I'm just not there" is said with so much conviction and emotion at some parts that it leads you to wonder where his mind was when he wrote not only this song but the whole cd.

The effects on the cd were just enough, it wasn't T-Pain over the top and it wasn't Lil' Wayne...It was Kanye expressing himself the best way he knew how. It was a hell of a lot of damn repetition, not the catchy repetition...just fuckin repetitious for no reason lol. It seemed as if he was either tryin to emphasize what he was saying or was too lazy to think of anything else to say. Like Lil' Wayne did in Ms. Officer "And I beat it like a cop, Rodney King baby yeah I beat it like a cop, Ha Haaa... beat it like a cop,Rodney King baby said beat it like a cop"

It's funny cause people been saying for the longest "I wish he'd stop making beats that have samples"...he did the shit now they want him to change it again.

Well Brother Kanye, I'd have have to say, even though its not what I'm used too, you did right by me...I at least got 4 songs that I can but in rotation. LOL

Well, semester's ended, the holiday is upon us, love is in the air, and life is in the need to be be lived.
