Music Monday
Today I was in the mood of hearing songs I havent heard in a min.
Then a lil light bulb popped in my head and Aaliyah songs just start coming to me.
Did a little wikipedia'n and I cant believe its been 8 years since she's died.
I still remember riding in the car, and hearing 'One of Detroit's angels has passed'. It was so surreal I know people that went to the high school she did,hell my middle school played her's alll the time.
Detroit was so somber.
And for like 3 days straight every station played her music.
Here's a couple of my faves

So me and my roomie were talking about how I'm going thru them and I think so far I doing pretty good,lol.
Denial-I can't believe he can just throw 14 years down the drain. (not together for 14 but friendships in my eyes are relationships) WHO does that?
Anger-I hate that he wanted me to give up on him. I hate he was such a lil punta and gave up.
Bargaining- I wont kill you if you die first.
Depression-Where dey do that at? I just go spend money I dont have ;/
Acceptance-When I find you blowing up my phone and I can successfully send you to voicemail.
So yeah on that point I think I'm doin pretty good..lol../

I loved this song on the CD and now Nip|Tuck is playing it on their Season 6 commercials (This Wednesday is the season opener!!). Nip|Tuck never fails on impressing me on their commercials.
